Welcome to DTV! Nestled in the mountains just outside of charming Brevard, North Carolina, lies the ultimate dog and owner vacation. Stay in a guest house on Black Knob with thousands of acres of forest surrounding you.   Bring your family and best friend for a week to explore this beautiful area with daily training sessions for you and your dog included.   You are centrally located to all the great places in this area.

Our goal is to make this your best vacation ever!  During your vacation you will receive 6 customized daily sessions for 90 minutes with Nan during your week long vacation with us.  Play time in the yard is also included during this time for your dog.

Be an effective leader by providing good guidance.

Best training equipment is a flat collar and 6 foot leather leash.

Connect with your dog through touch and talk.

Use command words properly, give one time only.

Be clear, consistent and firm with your training.

Do your homework.  No practice, no progress.

Keep training fun and filled with praise for jobs well done.
